Project Information

Woods Hardwick were instructed to produce a Transport Statement and a Framework Travel Plan on behalf of Crofton Place Commercial Limited and Northampton Footwear Distributors Limited in support of their planning application to redevelop a site off Summerhouse Road in Moulton Park. The site is located in an established industrial estate with direct access from Summerhouse Road just off the A5076 and demand management measures were sought by the Highway Authority (NCC) via a Travel Plan.
Northamptonshire’s Transport Strategy for Growth has a 20% modal shift target and the Travel Plan submitted with the application makes a contribution towards the NCC’s desire to set up an Area Wide Travel Plan for Northampton.Upon the granting of the planning permission, an individual Travel Plan was prepared for NFD. This TP builds on the existing travel patterns of the company and enhances their sustainability. .
