Dunchurch Park Hotel, Warwickshire

Project Information

Woods Hardwick Infrastructure were appointed by Signature Hotel Group Ltd to produce a Transport Statement and Travel Plan in support of their planning application to provide additional bedroom accommodation at Dunchurch Park Hotel and Conference Centre. The site lies approximately three miles to the south of Rugby half a mile from the centre of Dunchurch. It is accessed from the A426. The M45 terminates at Dunchurch. There is a West Coast Main Line railway station at Rugby and the site is served by bus routes. Signature Hotel Group have strategic partnerships in place with two companies who are leaders in their field and who operate world wide from Dunchurch Park. The purpose of the Travel Plan is to demonstrate the commitment of the Hotel and conference centre operation to minimise the impact of vehicular travel on the environment by reducing the level of unnecessary travel and encouraging those who have to travel to do so in a more environmentally friendly way. The Highways Agency fully approved the measures, as they contribute to mitigating vehicular impact on the Strategic Road Network.
