Project Information

A Transport Assessment was prepared in support of a planning application for an uplift in dwelling numbers from the orginal 750 units with extant planning permission. Junction capacity assessments were undertaken at the A11 Thickhorn Interchange. Norfolk and Norwick University Hospital access. Colney Land and the newly built A11/Roundhouse Way roundabout. Accessible and well maintained footpaths and an extensive cycle network connecting the site to Norwich allow for a reduction in non-molonised road users journey times; a bus service is provided as part of the development and as further enhancement of the sustainability of the site a pedestrain crossing on the A11 forms an intergral part of the scheme.
