Project Information
The former red Oxide factory which used to dominate the Northamptonshire village of Deashanger was demolished to make way for a new mixed use development by Persimmon Homes. Central to the Elementis land is a watercourse known as Kings Brook which despite the surrounding uses benefits from excellent water quality and when the opportunity to open up an existing culverted section nearly 200m long was under consideration the Environment Agency were concerned to avoid any possibility of contamination.
